All Star Extravaganza III March 30 from Detroit, MI

Match 1: Adam Pearce defeats Colt Cabana, Matt Sydal and Chris Hero

All three of his opponents are being pushed in some fashion, including two upper card wrestlers in Colt and Hero, so this is a very big win for Pearce. He’s still at home opening a show, however.

Match 2: Erik Stevens defeats Alex Payne in a Do or Die match

Said to last about 5 seconds Okay.

Match 3: Mochizuki defeats Davey Richards with a kick to the head

Sounds stiff and fun. Right in line with my predictions

Match 4: Jimmy Jacobs and Lacey defeated BJ Whitmer and Daizee Haze when Jimmy speared Haze

The usual violent brawl. It worries me that this might mean BJ gets the big win tonight in their cage match.

Match 5: Jay and Mark Briscoe defeat Shingo and Naruki Doi to win the ROH Tag Team Titles

Mark concussed himself badly with a shooting star to the floor, but Jay was able to fend off the Dragon Gate stars to win.

After the match Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley challenged the Briscoes for a match next month in Chicago.

Match 6: YAMATO defeats Pelle Primeau

Well, Pelle can take a beating. I’m sure YAMATO looked great.

Match 7: Brent Albright defeats Nigel McGuinness through Hero interference

Maybe Larry Sweeney’s stable will actually grow now.

Match 8: Homicide defeats Christopher Daniels

Daniels was in full heel mode, but that isn’t what’s interesting here

After the match Adam Pearce jumped Homicide and Jim Cornette, he of the longstanding feud with Homicide, emerged.

Match 9: Roderick Strong defeats Jack Evans

This was supposedly a great match with a lot of sick spots.

Match 10: Eight Man All Star Dragon Gate Rules Match: CIMA, Susumu Yokosuka, Dragon Kid, & Ryo Saito d. Delirious, Austin Aries, Rocky Romero, & Claudio Castagnoli

Sounds like a stacked show, as expected. I personally can’t wait to see the Strong and Evans match! I won’t be doing results tomorrow, but PK will be in with a live show report.
