Detroit Injury Updates

News

According to Dr. Keith Lipinski, ROH Tag Champ Mark Briscoe was in the hospital until today, and has been released after a severe concussion that landed him in the Intensive Care Unit until Saturday (he had a seizure in the hospital). He hurt himself landing badly during a shooting star press on Friday’s ROH show in Detroit.

Interestingly enough, there hasn’t been any big injury news coming out of last night’s Wrestlemania, which should make fans and friends of Edge and Jeff Hardy happy, at least. Sheesh. This is according to Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com.

Mike Johnson at Pro Wrestling Insider has reported that Jimmy Jacobs will be getting knee surgery and out 6-9 months after his Match of the Year Candidate against BJ Whitmer this weekend in a steel cage. He’ll still be at ROH events, but Whitmer hurt his neck and will be missing the April NY-area shows.
