This was ABC’s shot to take back #1. CBS had a lackluster first half of the week, often finishing in 4th place. FOX could have stepped in and took over #1 as well. But in the end, both networks failed to beat CBS even when it had one of its worst weeks ever. In fact, FOX was able to edge out ABC for #2. How that was possible? I’m not sure, but the numbers don’t lie. ABC probably could have won this week if Grey’s Anatomy wasn’t a rerun. It was, though, and that hurt them in the end. And as for the first matchup of American Idol and Dancing with the Stars, it wasn’t that close. American Idol proves again that no one can beat it head-to-head. In fact, CSI was able to beat our DWTS for second place. ABC really needs all of their big guns blazing if they hope to get out of third place! Stay tuned…
