With the outpouring of movie adaptations of comic books being so successful; it doesn’t look as if it will end anytime soon. There has been X-Men, Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, and so many more that it’s time another group gets their chance at stardom.
DC’s comic book superhero group “Metal Men” is being put into action and being made into a feature-length film. Eric Champnella (Mr. 3000) will pen the script while Richard Donner’s wife Lauren Shuler Donner (X-Men) will produce.
The story of Metal Men focuses on a brilliant man named William Magnus who created a group of super powerful robots. The robots are all built out of different metals and have unique qualities and powers which are associated with what they are made of. Robots made of gold, platinum, iron, lead, tin, and mercury which have the fantastic ability of being able to think for themselves which requires no programming.
