It’s been known that Steven Spielberg and the dinosaurs are coming back for a fourth installment of Jurassic Park for some time now, but no news about casting or anything else has been released.
Well, there is finally a bit of information as to who will be battling the giant creatures and that’s Laura Dern who is returning to her role of Dr. Ellie Sattler. It seems she received a phone call from Spielberg personally letting her know that Dr. Sattler would be a part of the fourth installment into the franchise.
It also seems as if Sam Neill will not be returning to reprise his role as Dr. Alan Grant. Kind of odd considering he has been a major part of the first three films while Dern’s role was not even in the second film and limited to a small cameo in the third.
This is not set in stone just yet though because word is that Jurassic Park IV will not even begin filming anything until Spielberg is finished with Indiana Jones 4.
