Big Show to Appear at Hogan/Lawler Event

News

WrestlingObserver.com’s Dave Meltzer has reported that “Giant Paul Wight” (former WWE and WCW Champion The Big Show) will appear on the April 27 PMG Clash of the Legends show at the FedEx Forum in Memphis. This show is being headlined by Hulk Hogan vs. Jerry Lawler, and will be the biggest indie show in the U.S. not targeting Hispanics in years.

Greg Valentine, Brutus Beefcake, Jimmy Valiant, Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, Grandmaster Sexay, Koko Ware, Abdullah the Butcher, The Barbarian and Jim Cornette are also announced for the show, with Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton, Lance Russell and Cory Maclin as hosts.

According to Pro Wrestling Insider, there is a press conference scheduled for tomorrow at 11am at the arena to make this all official, with both main eventers expected to appear. Hogan will then be on Memphis Wrestling TV Saturday to promote the event, with tickets going on sale that day.
