And down goes CBS! ABC was able to beat CBS to a bloody pulp this week. How did it do it? The strengths of Dancing with the Stars, Grey’s Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives combined with almost a full week of reruns on CBS. Usually CBS’ reruns are pretty consistent and good. Not this week. It was still good enough for second place, but ABC didn’t slip up any and never really fell past third place on any night. It finally breaks the streak that CBS had going for it. Of course, CBS is without a doubt the #1 show on TV for the entire season, but at least for this week, ABC is king!

The tops show didn’t change at all. It’s always interesting to see the top four shows belong to ABC and FOX. As for the overall rankings, the thing to note is the GIANT dropoff in this season’s Dancing with the Stars. In the Fall, that show was HUGE. In the Spring, not so much. You can probably blame American Idol for the decrease, yet American Idol is still not big enough yet this year to overtake last Fall’s Dancing with the Stars. That’s the matchup to watch as we close out this season in the next month. Stay tuned…

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading!
