According to the April 23 Wrestling Observer Newsletter (click here for subscription information), WWE has asked Arn Anderson to come out of retirement for one or two TV matches, with HHH and Stephanie pushing him teaming with Flair to promote the Four Horsemen DVD, but this can’t happen without medical clearance.
Arn was supposedly positive about this, but the idea has taken on a life of its own, and some are even talking about AA as taking on a Finlay-like “player/coach” role.
In related news, the Observer is reporting that Ole Anderson says that he didn’t work with WWE on the Four Horsemen DVD because, even though he was asked, he didn’t want to be paid by Vince for reasons going back over 20 years.
