It seems that films created from video games is not a dead art yet. For some time now there has been talk over another Street Fighter film being created. Or maybe it will be the “first” one since no-one really counts the one starring Jean Claude Van-Damme and Raul Julia.
Well the new film based on the very popular video game franchise is to center around the heroine of the games, Chun-Li. And it seems that Jessica Biel (Blade Trinity) is confirmed to don the small buns and kimonos.
Hyde Park and 20th Century Fox are releasing the film some time next year and were said to have offered the main role to a few other popular actresses first. The role was on the table for Keira Knightley or Jessica Alba to take, but their refusals thrust Biel into the part.
Not much is known about the plot of this film except that the story will center on Chun-Li.
