Today the WWE web site has announced that 2 Cold Scorpio and Rob Conway have been released.
Scorpio was signed last September and was thought to be heading to the ECW brand. In the end, Scorpio never made a television appearance for any WWE shows, although he did appear for both OVW and the now-closed DSW.
Conway was brought up to Raw in August of 2003, where he joined Sylvain Grenier and Rene Dupree in La Resistance. In January of this year Conway had vowed to quit if he lost a match to Jeff Hardy and did so (with a little help from Mr. McMahon). Conway then returned to making OVW appearances.
