Preview: Stacking the deck
May 15, 2007

Less than a week before his title defense against Bobby Lashley at Judgment Day, ECW World Champion Mr. McMahon will stack the deck against his challenger. Last week, the Chairman looked like he was sending a message to Lashley when he, with the help of Shane McMahon and Umaga, crushed Rob Van Dam in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. Last night on Raw, he outsmarted Lashley when he violated his own no-touch rule. (For several weeks, Lashley was not allowed to touch Mr. McMahon, his son Shane or Umaga unless he was physically provoked. If he did, he would lose his title rematch.) Ultimately, Lashley was left in a heap on Raw after a sneak attack and blow to the head with the ECW World Title by Mr. McMahon.

This week, in a prelude to the 3-on-1 Handicap Rematch for the ECW World Title at Judgment Day, Mr. McMahon has ordered Lashley to face all three members of the New Breed – Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von, and Matt Striker – in a Handicap Match. Will Lashley be able the overcome these odds with his title rematch just days away? Or will the New Breed leave the courageous former Army sergeant weakened and easy pickings for the Chairman-Champion and his vultures? Find out on ECW on Sci Fi.

Last week, it also looked like Mr. McMahon had succeeded in destroying the spirit of the original ECW when he, his son Shane and Umaga, bulldozed RVD. Will RVD be able to rebound when he faces the monstrous Snitsky?

Elijah Burke gained some revenge on CM Punk when he cost the Straightedge Superstar his match against Marcus Cor Von and helped damage his ribs. What will be the latest round of one-upmanship between two of ECW’s brightest young stars as their encounter at Judgment Day approaches?

Find out the answers to these pressing questions and more on ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday at 10/9 CT.
