Sylvester Stallone may be over 60 years old but that doesn’t mean he can’t resurrect another of his old characters just like he did with Rocky.
Stallone is right in the middle of filming his next action flick called John Rambo which is also directed by Sly. It will mark the fourth film in the series following First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III which were all released in the eighties.
John Rambo finds the Vietnam vet being recruited by a Christian human rights missionary group to protect them. They are in Burma and providing aide to the persecuted Karen people of the country but under attack from the evil Burmese military. After some of the missionary activists are taken hostage by the soldiers, Rambo sets out to assemble a team of mercenaries and get them back.
Below are the first images of Stallone as Rambo almost twenty years later since we last saw him.
John Rambo is set for release sometime next year.
