To follow up on the story that Shawn Michaels blew out his knee, Pro Wrestling Insider has reiterated that Michaels has been working on a bad knee for some time now, putting off any time off or surgery due to the big DX angle and his feud with Cena. The site admits that “it is serious,” but seems to feel that HBK will keep working as long as he doesn’t “overdo” it. Time will tell.
PWInsider is also reporting that former WWWF Champion Ivan Koloff broke six ribs after being in a car accident this weekend in North Carolina.
In other injury news, WrestlingObserver.com reports that Perro Aguayo Jr. has also blown out his knee, hurting himself at a big show in Mexico called “Los Cincos Magnificos” (described as a huge TV show that has celebrities doing circus acts). He had arthroscoping surgery on his right knee, and may only be out for around six weeks.
