In other news:

– WWE.com’s Louie Dee has written a story on HBK’s two recent concussions, which of course is a work, since his real injury is a blown-out knee. Troy Aikman and Corey Koskie are quoted in the story, but interestingly enough, WWE’s Chris Nowinski (who’s career ended due to post-concussion syndrome, the subject of his recent book and numerous press interviews) was not.

– In a good read, The Calgary Sun’s TJ Madigan writes about the “Curse of Stampede Wrestling” — talking about Dynamite Kid, Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, Larry Cameron, Davey Boy Smith, Bret Hart and Tokyo Joe.

– Mark Canterbury (Henry Godwin) was released in the past week, according to Pro Wrestling Insider. He was teaming with Ray Gordy in Deep South, but as seen on Smackdown recently, was replaced in the tag team with the former Fake Kane.

– Speaking of Kane, Pro Wrestling Insider reported today that Kane beat William Regal at a dark match last night, so I guess Kane — featured on the PPV’s promotional posters — WAS on the show.

– According to Pro Wrestling Insider, Mick Foley shot footage for the pilot of the tentatively-titled reality series Wrestling My Family, which is being shot for A&E network. Footage was filmed at NY Wrestling Connection’s school run by Mikey Whipwreck.
