You’ve fed them, bathed them, dressed them, and controlled every single aspect of their lives hoping you wouldn’t ruin it. And now the greatest selling PC game in history is going to roll into theatres and there is nothing you can do about it.

20th Century Fox has acquired the rights to the PC game that lets you control life and has sold over 85 million units in it’s five year history, The SIMS. John Davis (Eragon, Norbit) will be associated with the project in some way, possibly directing.

Brian Lynch (Scary Movie 3) will write the script for the live-action picture based on the Electronic Arts’ game. No storyline or actors have yet been named; as everything is being sealed tight and kept under wraps.
