Crowe optioned Dolce’s Inferno, a film penned by Mark Staufer. Crowe will produce the film only and has no intentions on starring in it. Staufer is a former U.K. Universal television executive and Crowe is said to be happy to getting the chance to work with him.
“I’m looking forward to collaborating with Mark, who is such a talented writer,” Crowe said.
The film will take the feel of a contemporary romantic comedy about a determined gossip columnist in Los Angeles who loves his fast-paced way of life. But when he falls in love, he can do nothing but watch his entire world spin out of control.
