The remake fest continues as DreamWorks is prepping to start filming this July on a remake of the Korean horror film A Tale Of Two Sisters.
Elizabeth Banks (Spider-Man franchise, Slither) will star in the film which centers around two sisters who return home to their father after time spent in a mental institution. As they try to recover and rest, it is hindered by their cruel stepmother being overly obsessive and a ghost who thinks its interference is needed.
Banks is set to star as the girls’ stepmother which is a bit of a change of pace from her past roles. Thomas and Charles Guard are slated to direct the film which will do the first of its filming in Shreveport, LA.
A Tale Of Two Sisters is aiming for release sometime next year.
