Guillermo del Toro, Lawrence Gordon, and Lloyd Levin are all set to produce the psychological thriller Born while the horror master himself, Clive Barker will executive produce.
Jennifer Connelly (HULK, Dark Water) and Paul Bettany (The Da Vinci Code) will star in the film directed and written by Daniel Simpson. Paul Kaye and Barker also were in on penning the film.
Born centers on a couple who settle down in a normal and ideal English town to start their life and raise a family. Things start to get very strange and confusion sets in though when the husband, a claymation artist, realizes his characters are acting out a nightmare of his that is coming to life.
Due to the storyline involving claymation characters, stop-motion animation will be integrated into the film.
