Even though ECW’s show today “must go on,” and the WWE flag in Connecticut is being flown at half-mast, WWE.com — which is chock full of Vince-related stories and video — has reported that the supplemental draft, originally scheduled for tomorrow at noon, will instead take place at that time but on Sunday. Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com has added that the reason for the delay was because “everyone in creative is talking about how to milk the angle and stuff like the draft and the PPV isn’t even on anyone’s minds right now.” Meltzer promises details in Monday’s Observer newsletter but notes that, of course, plans keep changing. He also claims that because the stunt was taped before The Sopranos finale aired, the comparisons are just a coincidence being used in marketing, although in my opinion, even without seeing the finale, WWE knew RAW would be airing the day after the big finale, so…
