The much talked about and controversial film Captivity now has a trailer online that you can view by clicking here.
Jennifer Tree (Elisha Cuthbert) is a cover girl that has the world at her fingertips and everything going for her. All women want to be her and all men want her. But it seems one person is doing anything to have her. Out alone one night at a charity event, she is drugged and taken captive by someone she soon learns is a sadistic and crazy madman. Held captive in a small room, Jennifer is put through a series of torturous and horrible ordeals and must find her way out before it’s too late.
This is the film that caused a lot of controversy with some of the billboards it tried to put up in different cities. The boards portrayed different images of Elisha Cuthbert in a box filling up with sand. Each picture showed the sand filling up a little further and a little further until it was simply Cuthbert’s face and hand against the box’s wall with sand all around her.
Captivity is scheduled for release July 13, 2007.
