Leonardo DiCaprio has already joined back up with writer William Monahan from The Departed as they are set for Body Of Lies. The Ridley Scott directed film now has DiCaprio’s co-star as well.
Russell Crowe will co-star with Dicaprio in the Warner Bros. film which is an adaptation of the David Ignatius novel. Donald De Line and Scott are producing and filming begins this fall.
Crowe plays the role of Ed Hoffman, a manipulative CIA boss who is trying to trap a dangerous Al Qaeda leader. Teaming with operative Roger Ferris (Dicaprio), they plat a false rumor that the Al Qaeda bomber is actually a spy for the Americans.
The film is possibly aiming for release late next year.
