THREE TEAMS ATTACK MCALLEN, TX TO PARTICIPATE FOR THE VACANT NWAâ„¢ WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES

Charlotte, NC (June 29, 2007) – Seeing that “Reclaiming the Glory: NWAâ„¢ World Heavyweight Championship Tournament” is in full swing the Board of Directors of the National Wrestling Alliance® thought it would be appropriate to debate the candidates and method of declaring new NWAâ„¢ World Tag Team Champions and during a two day closed door meeting Executive Director Robert K. Trobich and his cabinet decided that the vacant titles would be awarded on July 8, 2007 in McAllen, TX and the Convention Center. “The reason we waited this long to do anything with the tag straps was because the singles tournament was a hectic situation and we didn’t want to not give them the right amount of attention” said Trobich “we had a lot on our plate and I am please with the way we are going to handle this Championship and its participants” Trobich continued.

During the two-day meeting the Directors interviewed potential teams on the telephone and turned down the idea of a second tournament. “To do another tournament would take too long to execute and we need Champions now” said Director, Ed Chuman.

The teams of Lucha standout’s Incognito & Sicodelico, Jr., multi-time tag team Champions Billy Kidman & Sean “X-Pac” Waltman and the controversial Joey Ryan & Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson will compete in what will be a three way tag team epic.

“Fan’s in the Southern Texas area should not miss this event, not only will they be treated to an outstanding card, but they will be a part of the new area of the NWAâ„¢,” states Director, Rick O’Brien. Tickets are on sale at the McAllen Civic Center and area outlets.
