WWE sent out feelers to Yoshihiro Tajiri about making a comeback but he was not interested.

John Laurinaitis is pushing for Lance Hoyt to be brought in. Hoyt has seemingly been in touch with Laurinaitis and said he could get out of TNA with no problems.

There was also some interest in bringing in Nigel McGuinness, although that ended when they found out he now has an ROH contract.

In an interview on a promotional appearance in India, Rey Mysterio said he was in discussions for a movie based on his life. He said “It will be a message for aspiring sports stars that have been discouraged, or were not built for sports, like I was.”

WWE has come into conflict with Harman International, an electronics company, over the ‘JBL’ trademark. Harman uses it after its founder, James Bullough Lansing, and claims 20 trademarks over parts of the name.

The 23rd July edition of the Wrestling Observer has some major spoilers regarding the WWE Championship this summer, so…

Despite some supporting the notion of turning Bobby Lashley heel and having him and John Cena do a longer feud, the plan is for Cena to drop the title to Randy Orton at SummerSlam. Triple H would go over King Booker in his comeback match at that show, then go onto feud with Orton over the title.
