Smackdown Spoilers for July 27, 2007

News, Spoilers

Following are Smackdown spoilers from Fresno, CA, according to Kris Dizon:

– Prior to ECW, Chuck Palumbo beat Ryan O’Reilly in a dark match.

– In between ECW and Smackdown, Sylvan Grenier (with Maryse) beat Funaki in a dark match.

– Batista beat Domino with the Batista Bomb. Domino got a lot of offense, and there was interference by Deuce.

– Hornswoggle beat Jamie Noble via count out to retain the Cruiserweight Championship.

– Chavo Guerrero beat Eugene with the Frog Splash.

– Matt Hardy & Ric Flair beat MVP and Chris Masters when Hardy pinned Masters with the Twist of Fate. Afterwards, MVP got on the mic and told Flair and Hardy that he beat both of them, and Hardy challenged him to a match and he would choose the stipulations.

– Kristal, Teddy Long, and Vickie were backstage with Ron Simmons, and Long asked Simmons to be his best man. Simmons accepts by saying Damn, ahem, yes.

– Mark Henry beat Joey Ryan (Pro Wrestling Guerilla Champion; thanks to Dr. Keith Lipinski for confirming his identity) in a squash match. Afterwards, Henry gets on the mic and lets everyone know that no man or beast can beat him.

– Jimmy Wang Yang & Torrie Wilson beat Kenny Dykstra and Victoria when Yang pinned Dykstra with an awesome Asai Moonsault.

– They show a video of Edge’s surgery.

– Kane beat Dave Taylor with the Choke Slam.

– The Great Khali has a celebration filled with horrible Indian dancers (2 of which were white, haha). Loud fireworks, Batista interrupts the celebration and challenges Khali to a one on one match and takes down Khali.

– In a post-show dark match, Batista and Rey Mysterio beat Finlay and MVP after Mysterio pinned Finlay with a Senton. Batista and Mysterio got the loudest pops of the night (the biggest heat was for Tony Chimmel all night).
