– Jerry Lawler was found not guilty in the assault case against him.

SI.com talks about the best wrestling managers of all time.

ChicagoSuburbanNews.com has an interview up with the great Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, where he talks about getting started in wrestling, the Benoit tragedy, drugs, health insurance and more. In a funny answer to a question about who he is real-life friends with, Heenan says, “It’s funny. I’ve seen all of these guys naked; I’ve seen them on the toilet; I’ve seen them in Spandex; I’ve seen them in suits. I don’t want to see them on my day off. I don’t want to talk to them or hear anything about them.”

WWE Magazine has a Q&A with Jeff Hardy.

Jim Ross’ blog looks at Rey Mysterio’s return to the Smackdown roster, mentioning your competition’s name on the air, Ring of Honor, Lanny Poffo, Goldust, CM Punk, collecting blood, Sting, confiscating fan signs, DX and more. In a previous blog entry that we missed a couple of days ago, JR also talks about Sting and fan signs, and also says that “I am under the impression that Heyman is no longer under contract to the WWE and hasn’t been for quite some time, but I am not involved in that end of the business any longer and never asked Paul when we had our visit.” Bischoff and Heyman both free agents? I wonder if TNA realizes this, and if they do, if they care…

– There’s an article on Pacman Jones, and whether or not appearing for TNA Wrestling will be in violation of his contract (it will, according to the Titans, if he actually wrestles; no one’s said he’ll wrestle, so that point seems moot), in the Tennessean.

– Lance Storm’s latest commentary is on the Congressional letter to WWE.
