#370 – Don’t Look Too Hard (Labyrinth)

At the California Arts Center, one may never find a more loyal employee to Bette Porter than James, her secretary. In Bette’s office, an online search is in progress to find Tina a new home. Bette however still wants to work things out with Tina, so it’s a matter of looking, but hoping not too find anything right away. Tina had just moved back in on the premise of being there temporarily and Bette’s not ready for her to leave again. “So…you want me to look…just don’t look too hard.” James understands and Bette smiles in agreement.

#369 – Gettin’ High & Breakin’ Up (Lez Girls)

It’s a party at the Kroll house with various CU boosters and donators there. Faculty’s there, including Bette and Jodi, but they, along with Tom Mater, Jodi’s interpreter are outside in the bushes, enjoying some narcoticallly enhanced fun. Bette finds herself being enthralled more and more with Jodi as the evening progresses and now Jodi and Bette engage in a game of passing the smoke from one mouth to the other. Bringing their tempted lips closer together, they appear on the verge of their first kiss when another situation arises nearby. Outside of the home, Alice, who has been involved with an affair with Phyllis decides to break it off, after finally meeting Phyllis’s husband, Leonard just a few minutes before. The breakup is swift, but painful as Alice breaks it off, with a concerned Bette, Jodi and Tom M looking on from the bushes. While the CU staff members in the bushes ponder what ramifications this could have on the workplace, Phyllis is left behind, heartbroken.

#368 – Shane Reemerges (Livin’ La Vida Loca)

None of the Group Of Friends had seen her since she ditched Carmen at what was to be their wedding in the Season 3 finale, Left Hand Of The Goddess. In the Season 4 premiere, Legend In The Making, Shane’s time was mostly spent dealing with Cherie Peroni in a wasted stupor. But now, the Planet with the Group Of Friends there see Shane walk in with her little brother, Shay. Kit treats Shay to some food while Alice hugs her longtime friend, happy she’s back and okay. Helena, who was cut off from the family fortune as a result of the fiasco of financing Shane & Carmen’s wedding on the family’s behalf is a little less enthusiastic about seeing her again. This is something Alice lets Shane know by reminding her that aside from Carmen, Helena was the one who was hurt most by Shane’s actions.

#367 – Hey, Good Lookin’ (Locked Up)

And so a riot broke out at the CAC, with protestors and Bette, along with Candace and some of Bette’s friends scuffling. The result is a mass of arrests and people from both sides of the argument over the Provocations exhibit being thrown into the back of a police van together. Bette winds up temporarily in Candace’s lap, adding to their sexual tension while Alice decides to freak out one of the women that opposes the exhibit by checking her out. Alice whistles the wee-woo at her and follows it up with, “Hey, good lookin’.” It’s vintage Alice Pieszecki.

#366 – German Shepherd (Losing The Light)

Having been introduced to Max and being informed that Max is a female to male transsexual, Tim just has to smirk about it. Max and Jenny go to their vehicle while Tim and his wife, Becky go to their vehicle to meet up at a hot dog stand. Becky is perplexed at Tim’s reaction towards Max. “It’s not enough that Jenny’s dating women. She has date a woman turning into a man.” Tim speculates that next time he sees Jenny, she’ll probably wind up dating a german shepherd. The idea has since stuck with some viewers as a running joke at message boards.

Tomorrow, moments #365-361!
