Smackdown Spoilers for August 10, 2007

News, Spoilers

Here are Smackdown spoilers for this Friday’s show, based on reports on WrestlingObserver.com, PWTorch.com and PWInsider…

Dark Matches:

– Jesse & Festus Dalton beat Mike Mondo and Nick Nemeth (formerly of the Spirit Squad).

– Chuck Palumbo beat Paul Burchill.

Smackdown:

– Batista beat Domino

– After the match Deuce tried hitting Batista with a title belt, but got beat up, and then Khali and Singh came on the Titantron to talk trash.

– They accidentally show a video of Jamie Noble and Hornswaggle, but seem to have meant to show one of Khali being devastating, since Singh said that Batista will suffer the same fate as Flair last week.

– Rey Mysterio is announced, but it’s Chavo with a Rey mask on, saying he’s a better wrestler and human being than Rey, and then pretends he’s Rey saying “I quit.”

– Chavo beat Eugene, starting off the match with the mask on and at one point going for and missing the 619. Eugene of course used the 3 Amigos and missed a Frog Splash, then lost to Chavo’s splash.

– Mark Henry beat Sterling James Keenan, then cuts a promo saying this is redundant, then goes to introduce a video on Henry beating up Undertaker. The arena goes dark, and a druid comes out, spreading sand around.

– Kenny Dykstra kisses Victoria backstage. McCool tells them to get a room.

– Victoria beat Torrie Wilson, with Jimmy Wang Yang and Kenny getting into it at ringside, and McCool kicking Victoria post-match.

– MVP is interviewed, saying he had a life-threatening heart condition, which explains his loss last week. He claims he had surgery and will be back in a week to challenge Hardy to another something. He’s half man and half amazing, and no one but him can come back this soon.

– Matt Hardy beat Finlay via countout, while Hornswaggle and Noble shenanigans happened.

– Finlay and Noble have an altercation backstage, Noble flanked by two other cruiserweights, and Finlay accidentally smacks and/or spills a drink onto Kane, so Finlay gets chokeslammed.

– Kane beat Sylvan Grenier (no Maryse), then Finlay beats up Kane.

– Chris Masters does a Masterlock Challenge, originally with a really large man coming into the ring, but Masters sends him away and instead picks local jobber John McChesney and wins.

– Ric Flair and Batista are backstage talking about Khali.

– Khali beat Ric Flair, keeps beating on him, Batista makes the save, yawn, etc. Khali stands tall to end the show. Does he have a choice?

Dark Match:

– Khali beat Batista via DQ with Flair hitting Khali with a chair.
