Preview: Shockwaves
August 10, 2007

This Friday night, Batista kicks off SmackDown in a big way when he takes on one-half of WWE Tag Team Champions, Domino. While The Animal rages forward in his pursuit of the World Heavyweight Championship, Domino and his tag partner Deuce have remained a forceful thorn in his side these past few weeks. Can Batista’s relentless drive power him to another victory in Youngstown, Ohio’s Chevrolet Centre, or will Domino and his fellow tag champ “Crack ’em in da Mouth”?

Also in action this Friday, Batista’s SummerSlam opponent and the World Heavyweight Champion, The Great Khali, will compete in non-title action against the 16-time World Champion, Ric Flair. Grasping for revenge after the Punjabi powerhouse’s vicious attack on Flair last week, can the “Nature Boy” find a way to neutralize the monstrous champion’s devastating new “hand-weapon,” the Claw? Or will The Great Khali showcase his dominance at the expense of one of the greatest of all time?

After taking an embarrassing pie in the face last week, is Jamie Noble planning to dish out some payback against the Cruiserweight Champion of the World, Hornswoggle? Noble hasn’t been short on threatening words for the pint-size champion, but can he finally step up and get the upper hand over SmackDown’s leprechaun?

To find out to these questions and more, don’t miss out on SmackDown this Friday night, 8/7 CT, only on The CW Network.

Also, according to PWInsider and WrestlingObserver.com, Smackdown will be preempted in the following markets this week (make-up date and time in parentheses):

Paducah, KY, WQWQ (8/10/07 10pm – 12 am)
Columbus, OH, WWHO (8/11/07 8-10pm)
