JOEY MATTHEWS NAMED TRAINER OF BEGINNERS CLASS
Ohio Valley Wrestling has now named Joey Matthews the Head Trainer of the OVW/DCW Beginner’s Class Program. OVW would like to thank John Toland for his time as the trainer for the Beginner’s Class Program.
Matthews is, of course, recently-released former WWE Tag Champion Joey Mercury.
In other news, WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that Iron Sheik is booked for tonight’s RAW. He will be picked up from a whiffle ball game in Albany, NY, by limo and brought to Manhattan.
“Because the company is under pressure to cut losses,” according to WrestlingObserver.com, Christy Hemme and Lance Hoyt weren’t flown into Orlando for the TNA PPV or tonight’s TV tapings.
