Richly Deserved: Big Brother 8 – Episode 18

Shows

Day 42 in the house and Dick and Danielle are up for eviction. Dick wants to push Danielle forward in the game. Danielle continues to hate the house. Jessica said she wants Danielle out.

Eric says he liked Jessica saying she was giving them a chance to play for the veto.

Dick told Danielle she has to be a better liar. He’s also giving her advice on who to align herself with. He’s happy she’s letting him be her dad. As much as I hate these two, I’m glad to see them getting closer.

Jessica doesn’t like that Jen is always in the HOH room. Dick tells Danielle they need to win the veto. He also says he has to get the rest to despise him. First he bangs a pot over Dustin while he’s sleeping. Then he shows up Amber (she is motionless). Then he runs smack on Eric. The more trash on Dustin. Then more on Eric. Everyone heads to the sanctuary, er, I mean the HOH room.

Time to pick the veto players. Jessica picks Jameka. Dick chooses Zach. Danielle chooses Dustin. Eric will host.

It’s a cocktail party mixed with croquet. There are 10 stations. Jameka is first. She tries the bacon egg and orange juice drink, Dustin downs the burger fries and banana shake, and the rest. Zach hates the Big Brother blood drink, and a few more. He throws the POV. Danielle loved the steak broccoli and worcestershire sauce drink, not. Dick has probably drank more than the rest of us combined so he downed everything in front of him. Jessica took the easy stuff first but then struggled with the hot dog relish and cola drink among others. The number of drinks determined the shots of croquet.

The shot count: Zach had three shots. His croquet earned 6 points. Jameka had four shots and 10 points. Jessica had five shots and earned a big 17 points. Danielle has seven shots and 20 points. Dustin drank all 10. He earned 32 points. Dick was the last shooter. He gets the five points in the last shot, 33 in total. Guess he plays a lot of pub darts too. Obnoxious as ever.

Dick struts in with the veto and smacks at Dustin. Dustin was unimpressed. Jameka says he is satan in this house. Everyone again retreates to the HOH room.

Jameka made a religion-based remark to Danielle. This sets Danielle off. She is deeply upset that she is being looked at negatively because of her father. Jameka tried to talk back to her but she ran to the HOH room to blast the rest of the house to vent her frustration. Jameka still accuses her of not trying to get to know the rest of the house. Then a religion argument ensues. Eric tells her straight up that his actions crossed the line. He adds that only her and Zach have been the only ones not attacked. Danielle tries to explain to them that this goes beyond the game, that it’s her real life. Jameka apologizes. Danielle says in the DR her outburst was partly strategy.

Danielle tells Dick that Jameka is rude. Dick tells her he wants to enjoy the rest of the time with her. Danielle says her dad is the only person she doesn’t want to see leave.

Eric talks to Jessica about putting Dustin up. Dustin is volunteering his services.

Time for America’s Player. I think the typical America’s Player voter is probably a white trash female. 35 years old. 350 pounds. And an IQ around 50. In other words, a typical Amazing Race fan.

Eric has to give someone the silent treatment. It’s Jessica. He’s not happy. He simply tries to avoid her. He climbs into bed. Jen tells Jessica that Dustin volunteering himself is strange and that he has a deal with Dick. Jen is really having fun with Jessica’s head, isn’t she. Eric tells Jessica that the medics needed him to avoid everybody. Unfortunately, that failed the task for him. Jessica is concerned Eric has a deal with them too. She may have overthought this one. Jessica is now torn.

Finally, the veto ceremony. Dick decided right when he won it that he was going to save Danielle. Jessica puts Dustin up. Dustin says it’s fine going up against Dick. Dick is thrilled. Danielle said it means a lot to her. Jessica worries that people in the group are starting to use her.

And once again, you control who Eric votes for. But if you vote to evict Dustin, as I expect you to, you truly are the most idiotic people on the face of the earth.

With that, see you next week.
