Smackdown Spoilers for August 17, 2007

News, Spoilers

Following are Smackdown spoilers for this Friday’s show, based on reports from Mohegan Sun, CT, on WrestlingObserver.com, PWInsider, etc….

– In a dark match, D-Lo Brown defeated Jay Bradley with the Sky High

– Smackdown started with US Champ MVP in a new in-ring segment called “The VIP Lounge” (couches, carpet), and he said that he won’t be cleared to box on Saturday, references Evander Holyfield as his sparring partner, and says to his guest – Matt Hardy – that this week he’ll have to do the Masterlock Challenge.

– Chris Masters defeated Matt Hardy in a Masterlock Challenge. MVP hit Matt a few times while in the lock, and although he almost broke the hold, he lost, and then MVP gave him the Playmaker.

– Vince and Coach arrived, doing more research about Vince’s illegitimate child, joking that maybe it’s Viscera.

– WWE Tag Team champions Deuce and Domino defeated The Major Brothers.

– Vince and Coach met with Teddy Long and Kristal Marshall, but The Great Khali and his interpreter came in, angry about the main event vs. Kane later in the night. Coachman and Vince talked about “that time in India” implying that Khali could be his son. Vince and Khali shook hands.

– Finlay vs. Jamie Noble went to a no contest when Kane hit the ring and chokeslammed Noble after Hornswaggle pushed him into the monster to save Finlay.

– Chavo Guerrero defeated Shannon Moore with the Brain Buster, then put the Rey mask on and hit Moore with the Frogsplash.

– Batista came out for a promo, Khali interrupted from the Tron, squeezing a basketball with his new Claw finisher. Batista ensured he’ll win the World Title at Summerslam.

– Vince and Coach continue the show-long discussion of who can be his child, listing Khali, Batista… even Big Dick Johnson (who showed up dressed like a dancing baby) as possibilities.

– Mark Henry defeated unidentified wrestler (It was East Coast indy wrestler Plazma, who worked for Jersey All Pro, among other groups). After the match, Henry takes the mic and says he’s not scared of the Undertaker. The lights go out and Undertaker’s gong strikes as his music plays. The lights go on and Henry goes to the back but mysteriously there is sand everywhere as he walks to the back.

– Kristal asked Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool to be her bridesmaids, but Victoria was left out. She (with Kenny) slapped Michelle, who slapped Kenny as a catfight happens. Teddy set up a match.

– Vince and Coach walked by Jimmy Wang Yang and Funaki, so they’re apparently on the list also. Apparently Funaki’s mother loved Vince long time. Kane then came up from behind and said, “Hello, Dad.” Ha.

– Victoria defeated Michelle McCool with Kenny interference. (The ending was botched, so they re-did the final sequence, with McCool winning, after the main event.)

– World Heavyweight Champion Khali defeated Kane in a non-title match with the Claw. Finlay and Batista got involved. Khali squished Dave B.’s head.
