Captain's Log: Big Brother 8 – Episode 19

Shows

The recap of the last week show what has happened as things are really getting sketchy in the house. The Late Night Crew’s alliance seems strong on the outside, but on the inside there are huge doubts especially in Jessica’s mind. Before Dick won the POV, he wanted to make sure his daughter was safe so he acted like well, a dick. He made sure that everyone in the house hated him. But it wasn’t really necessary as he won the POV and saved Daniele, which leads us into:

Up For Eviction
Dick and Dustin

and

There is strategy going on all over the house as people are trying to make alliances left and right. Jessica doesn’t trust Dustin at all and really thinks he has a bunch of deals in line and has plans to get rid of her eventually. Dustin on the other hand reveals his plans of taking out Daniele’s two legs. First it was Nick and now it will be her dad.

Eric needs to reconcile with Jessica and explains himself. He lets her know that he wanted to give her his advice and he knows she needed his help, but he was so sick that he could barely move. She forgave him completely and she is incredibly hot.

Zach cooked dinner for himself and Jessica for a moonlight meal in the backyard. He wishes to talk strategy and says that he will do what she wants and is necessary. He gives his word to vote out Dick and says he’ll stick to it.

America’s Player has gotten his orders on who to vote out and TA-DA, its Dustin. Surprise surprise. So Eric has a few conversations with Jessica about why Dustin should go. At which point she takes off her sweatshirt and draws attentions to her boobs. I had already noticed.

Dick even tries to cut a deal with Eric in the backyard. He says that he, Daniele, and Jessica can rule this thing. Eric makes sure that Dick knows that Jessica goes with him wherever he goes. Dick agrees and says the same about Daniele.

Let’s go live to the living room and check in with the houseguests. Dick says he made the right choice giving the POV to Daniele. Daniele isn’t sure she would have done the damn. Bee-yotch.

And Jen’s in sequins. Alright.

Oh crap Julie she brought up Amber’s daughter and now she’s frickin crying. Dammit Julie!

Uh-oh we are back talking to ex-housemate Joe and he is ripping a new one for Dustin. Joe continues how Dustin is nothing but selfish as he always thought he was and that Dustin’s future in the house is limited. Wow Dustin has gone from sweet guy to Queen Bitch.

Zach (in bunny suit) to Dick: “Dude, I think we voted out the wrong gay guy!” HA!

Some special guests have dropped by the house tonight says Julie. Really now? In the meantime, Zach is very quietly doing incredibly well and I think he is going to surprise a lot of people. People keep thinking “oh Zach is nothing” for too long and before you know it, he’ll be in the final two. But I still think that Eric is a genius.

Jessica is talking she trusts Eric and Jameka the most. She says she has a great time with Eric everyday and who knows what could happen outside the house which means that “oh, but we’re such good friends.” Hey Eric? SWING and a miss!

Dustin gives his speech saying it has been a fun first 6 weeks and he hopes the next 6 are. Dick wishes Carol was there to give him a kiss on the way out.

Amber votes to get rid of Dick. Eric well, we know who his vote is for. Now I ask, if he fails at missions then he doesn’t get the cash for that mission. Can he refuse to vote for who America asks to? So he obviously then can’t fail at the mission of voting for who America wants him to, because Julie always just says, “Eric we already know your vote!” Interesting.

Jameka votes to get rid of ED and Daniele wants Dustin out. Zach votes to evict Dustin didn’t he tell Jessica he’d get rid of Dick? And Jen votes to evict Dustin. And the pawn thing fails again as a vote of 4 2 takes out:

Dustin

Dustin is shocked I tell you SHOCKED! And Mr. Grey T-Shirt is gone, he’s wearing it by the way. Amber’s crying again. Good Lord. Dustin blames Eric and actually calls out who everyone voted for spot on. And he makes a good point that he will be the first person on the jury. Dick laughs his goodbye, Jameka had his back, Jen sounds incredibly retarded, Eric keeps on lying, Daniele is Captain Obvious, Zach thinks he is too arrogant, and Jessica wants to keep being friends.

I hate Amber. I really really hate Amber.

Flashback to yesterday with some strange visitors yesterday different characters from Alice In Wonderland. A midget Mad Hatter keeps spouting phrases in the house. Outside there is a barbershop quartet singing and a pirate on stilts saying random things too. Bunnies are inside with cards wrapped around their necks. A live statue does different poses. That looked kinda fun actually.

HOH Competition Daniele can’t participate and Jameka is out for a second straight week of five. Tonight we are playing “Strange Visitors” which has true or false questions about the guests from yesterday.

Jen’s gone first. Dick and Zach head out next. Eric is gone and it is down to Daniele and Amber. And heading to the big bedroom this week is:

Daniele

Dick is ecstatic and Eric looks extremely nervous for some reason. I don’t think he has anything to worry about for my prediction of those going on the block this week are going to be Amber (thank God) and Jameka. Jen complains that on the first question she knows the answer was false, she put false, and it somehow said true. Ok!

It seems as if a different alliance has the power each week, and Dustin going home was the beginning of the end for the Late Night Crew. Yet again America, tell Eric who to get up for eviction. Julie talks to everyone again and holy hell, Amber is crying again talking about Dustin being gone.

That’s it for this week; make sure to be back with us on Sunday as Josh Clinton covers the next episode which will let us know just whose days may be numbered. And Tuesdays are covered by Richard Mauntah for the POV competition and that always gets interesting. But stay with Reality Dish everyday for coverage of Showtime After Dark and the 24/7 online coverage. Til next Thursday, your Captain has spoken and I’m done with you.
