Following up yesterday’s story on some of the stars that may or may not appear in the upcoming Justice League Of America, there is a little information out now that may make everything make more sense.

Reports are now out saying that the film may run the route of Polar Express and the upcoming Beowulf film and use the technology of CGI/Motion Capture animation. The site states:

However, and take this with a grain of salt, Imageworks are apparently in the running to provide services on the JLA film, competing with R&H and possibly WETA (the latter being unconfirmed).

But the real interesting thing about this is that the contract is for an all-cgi “photo-real” motion capture movie, much like the upcoming Beowulf.

Many rumors have circulated since word of the film’s existence first came to the forefront. George Miller (Happy Feet) is said to be directing the film and it would include superheroes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the Flash. Rumors of casting starting next week and also that certain stars would not fill roles they currently hold also have been passed around.

Considering how huge the film would be if it was live-action, many have wondered if Warner Bros. could do it any type of justice without it ending up being a total mess. This new information lends a little bit more validity to the possibility of the film actually happening. Yet still, this information of CGI/Motion Capture being used is also not confirmed yet so stay tuned as more comes to us.
