A crime drama starring two of the most notable names in Hollywood history now has its female lead.
Carla Gugino is going to star opposite Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in the crime drama Righteous Kill from director Jon Avnet. Russell Gerwitz wrote script for the film which will be produced by Avi Lerner, Randall Emmett, and Boaz Davidson just to name a few. It is due to start shooting by September.
The film stars De Niro and Pacino as a pair of bickering cops hot on the trail of a serial killer. Gugino will take on the role of a crime-scene investigator that has a bit of a dark side to her personal life and ends up in some sort of relationship with De Niro’s character.
