WWE has opened an office in Shanghai, China. They began airing on TV there in January and hope to establish themselves in the local market.

Eric Stein from Big Brother used to work on the WWE creative team as an assistant in 2006. The Wrestling Observer says he refers to the experience as the worst two months of his life. He gained a reputation for being a little odd and then got heat with the wrestlers after being duped into going up to the likes of JBL and showing him his body piercings, since they would then think he was ‘hardcore’. Uh-uh.

Triple H was said to be very reluctant about having King Booker bring out a Triple H impersonator on the 20th August episode of Raw. He has nixed it many times in the past when Brian Gerwitz suggested it. The impersonator was Chris Hamrick.

Bob Holly has been having more elbow problems after his surgery. He told management in OVW that he had lost feeling in his arm from his elbow to his hand. A similar case of nerve damage brought Ultimo Dragon’s career to a close. According to Meltzer, the plan for his return had been to move him to Smackdown (due to heat with ECW writer Dave Lagana) and team him up with Eugene. They would be a reluctant odd couple and be managed by a trained monkey. That is the most brilliant plan of all time. Hopefully they can still bring the monkey up from developmental. Perhaps he could be the Boogeymonkey?
