First Paul W.S. Anderson dropped off the project as director so he could film Death Race, and now it seems a new writer will pen the adventures of the Belmont clan.
Syvain White has stepped into the director’s spot for Anderson and it doesn’t appear that Anderson’s script is going to be used either. Ian Jeffers, who wrote the script for Death Sentence has been put in charge of changing around the script.
Production was supposed to start this fall; no word on whether it will be delayed or not as no casting news has been announced either. Castlevania was made famous with a series of video games that started in the eighties and have continued up to today. They portray Simon Belmont and members of his family as they hunt down the most famous vampire of all, Count Dracula.
