TNA Spoilers for August 30 and September 6, 2007

News, Spoilers

iMPACT! Taping for the show to air Thursday, August 30, 2007

– Team 3D vs. Motor City Machine Guns is announced, but Scott Steiner interrupts and cuts a promo. He is attacked by Team 3D, which beats him down, including smashing a chair on his surgically-repaired throat and eventually powerbombing him through a table. He gets stretchered out.

– VKM beats Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley easily after the MCMG challenge anyone in the back to face them. Oops. Then Kip does the same, and LAX, XXX and Eric Young & Shark Boy come out leading to a big brawl.

– Sting beats A.J. Styles, Christian Cage and Samoa Joe (who came out with his dancers) to become Kurt Angle’s tag partner and half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions when Sting made AJ tap. Sting and Kurt will team up to face Team Pacman at No Surrender, so of course, Ron Killings and Adam Jones come out to beat Sting up after the match (Killings did all the work, Jones spraypainted Sting’s back). Match included Cage and Joe brawling to the back and interference by Tomko. Angle was out with his wife watching the match, and afterwards gave Sting his belt, Karen holding the new tag champs’ hands in the air. Angle left before Sting was beat down. One report from the taping says that Kurt came back to make the save afterwards, but another doesn’t, so take that for what it’s worth.

Taped for TNA Today, Xplosion and/or “Road to No Surrender”
– Eric Young & Shark Boy beat Sonjay Dutt & Petey Williams with Young pinning Petey.

iMPACT! Taping for the show to air Thursday, September 6, 2007

– Tomko beat Kaz after interference by Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks went awry. Brooks, who used to manage Kazarian, seems concerned with her former charge, but Roode yelled at her and attacked him. The segment ends with Tomko shoving Roode down.

– Samoa Joe beat Raven with a choke hold in a match that featured AJ Styles interfering with a kendo stick, and Tomko, Styles and Christian beating up Joe after the match and handcuffing him, forcing him to watch them beat up one of Joe’s dancers. Joe ran after Cage after security undid the handcuffs.

– In a match that I’m assuming gets explained in a backstage segment with Jim Cornette, Abyss & Jay Lethal team up to beat Kurt Angle and Sting in a non-title match, with Abyss pinning Angle after the Black Hole Slam. Karen Angle, Jim Mitchell and Team Pacman all make appearances during and/or after the match, with everything ending with Jones spraypainting Kurt Angle (and maybe Sting, although that report is unclear).

Taped for TNA Today and/or Xplosion

– Robert Roode beat Homicide with a Perfectplex.
– Gail Kim & Chris Harris beat Roxxi Levaugh & B.G. James after a missile dropkick.
