Richly Deserved: Big Brother 8 Bonus Coverage of Amber and Danielle on Power of 10

Shows

After the returning contestant left the stage, winning $1,000 after missing the $100,000 question. Amber and Danielle made their much-anticipated appearance.

Amber and Danielle came up together to face off against eachother. Drew Carey warmed them up by telling them (jokingly) what has happened since they went into the house. Amber and Danielle then told him what they would do with the money.

Time to play. Whoever is closest to the answer gets a point, best three of five.

First question: What percentage of Americans have danced the Macarena.
Amber says 46%
Danielle goes with 70%
The Answer:48%. Amber 1, Danielle 0

Next, Percentage of people currently working two or more jobs (ME!)
Amber: 42%
Danielle: 54%
America: 16%. Amber 2, Danielle 0

Third, percentage of people who looked inside the medicine cabinet of another person’s house (shame on you)
Amber: 32%
Danielle: 24%
America: 41%. Amber wins 3-0

So Amber plays for the money. She’s so happy, she’s crying because her cousin Katie was there to support her. She says it’s very stressful in the house.

To the game:

$1,000 question: Percentage of people audited by the IRS.
Amber chooses the range between 8% to 48%. Katie likes the answer.
America: 17%. Amber wins.

$10,000 question: Percentage who think women should not be allowed to fight in combat situations.
Amber: 30% to 60%
America: 33%. Amber wins again

Amber says being watched in the house is nerve-racking.

$100,000 question: Percentage saying people should not be allowed to keep pit bulls as pets (Drew Carey made a Michael Vick reference. Unfortunately, Amber was oblivious to the story those of us outside the house have been following about the Falcons quarterback)

Amber: 18% to 38% She locks in and cries, and for good reason.
America: 55%. She leaves with $1,000.

Hey, at least it was a couple of days without listening to Evel Dick.
