Tapouts: Brock Lesnar to UFC, Dana White on Babalu, TUF 6 Contestants, & More

News

– Dana White expects to sign Brock Lesnar to a deal soon, according to WrestlingObserver.com. Lesnar was in attendance for UFC 74 but was not brought out on camera due to a deal not being made official.

– No word yet on Babalu’s punishment for holding onto a choke after his submission victory over David Heath, but Dana White is pissed. “It was a total chicken shit f*cking thing to do,” said White. “I realize this isn’t golf. This is the fight game and shit happens. But no way can you do what he did.” A fine is guaranteed and I wouldn’t be surprised if Babalu was banned from the octagon permanently.

– Joe Stevenson broke his nose during his unanimous decision victory over Kurt Pellegrino. It was initially believed to be a broken jaw but UFCjunkie.com confirmed it was a broken nose. The injury forces Stevenson under a medical suspension and he is to be sidelined until at least February of next year unless a doctor clears him for action sooner.

– The latest Dear Don advice column is up where Don Frye teaches you how to be a man. He also drops pearls of wisdom such as, “Why do you assume that the reason men should be paying attention to you is because you’re pretty? Have you ever thought that maybe men stay away from you because you’re a jerk? Maybe you have a bad attitude or a bad personality.” You pretty much have to read this.
