Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com, today wrote that the “current plan is for CM Punk to hold the ECW Title until John Morrison comes back, then he will lose it back to the now former champ.”
Also from PWInsider, Scherer wrote in his ECW report that it is rumored that Big Daddy V is being prepped to be brought up to Smackdown or RAW.
As we’ve seen frequently in wrestling, this can of course always change. Personally, I’m hoping WWE keeps the belt on Punk at least into No Mercy, so we can see what kind of reaction the hometown hero gets in Chicago.
