More on Brian Adams, Pacman Jones, Jerry Lynn

Brian Adams’ funeral was held in Tampa on the 22nd August. Among those in attendance were Bret Hart, Randy Savage, Jeff Jarrett, Hulk Hogan and the Nasty Boys. The latest word on Adams death is that it may have been caused by sleep apnea, as he had been suffering from it recently and had booked an appointment to see a specialist about it.

Tom Urbanski, the former wrestler who was left paralysed after a shooting at a Las Vegas club that may or may not have involved Pacman Jones and/or his friends, was released from hospital last week. He has dropped from 390 to 270 pounds and had skin reduction surgery because of the weight loss, with layers taken from his stomach. He still has a bullet lodged in his spine but has been able to perform tasks such as opening bottles and playing the guitar. When asked about TNA signing Pacman, he said “I wasn’t a Hulk Hogan but I was one of the boys. If I was still wrestling and this was happening to one of my friends and I got him in the ring, I’d take his freakin’ head off. But I’ve got to worry about just getting better. I can’t think about that.”

Jerry Lynn asked for his release from TNA as he only got paid when he worked, yet hadn’t worked in a month due to more TV time being taken up by their main stars. He also turned down Sunday bookings because TNA wants everyone to fly in a day before their shows but then he still would not be used anyway. He had been working as an agent but they stopped using him that way when he became on-air talent again. He has also expressed an interest in working on the ECW brand should WWE contact him.
