Contrary to indications from the Torch and Observer, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported today that Alex Shelley’s deal has not yet expired and does not have a deal that will expire soon. On rumors about Samoa Joe leaving TNA (something that Joe himself spoke out against on his blog), Johnson says he has over a year left on his TNA deal.
In other TNA news, Johnson has reported that, according to TNA’s Mobile text service, the company is teasing a “major announcement” for Sunday’s PPV and that the company is “negotiating with a former World champion.”
PWInsider also reports that TNA will have its first international tour in November, performing at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel. Tickets for the November 15 event range from $45 to $80 and are already on sale.
