It seems as if it will be time for Quaid to get his a$$ back to Mars.
Rumor has it that a sequel to the 1990 sci-fi film, Total Recall has been in the works for a long time. But things were put on semi-permanent hold with certain problems popping up, other films coming out with the same ideas, and just overall unavailability of actors. Now things are being looked at again but more so in the range of a remake.
The original starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as Doug Quaid. Quaid went on a virtual vacation and ended up having memories of a life he had on Mars. Trying to get his life back in order and just understand what is going on; unexpected circumstances cause him to head to the planet for real to find out the truth.
This is nothing more then a rumor for now; so please take it as such. It is well known that Schwarzenegger is involved in politics now and kind of doubtful he would ever return to acting. Who would play Quaid or even if it would be a strict remake or different at all remains to be seen.
