The Brave One РStarring Jodie Foster, Terrence Howard, and Mary Steenburgen. Erica Bain is a New York radio host that has everything going for her. But one night she and her fianc̩ are attacked while taking a walk leaving her badly injured and him dead. Not wanting much else in life; she sets out at night to hunt down those responsible.

Dragon Wars – A beautiful young woman is at the center of a dynamic battle as she has the power to transform a legendary giant serpent into an almighty dragon. Only with her ultimate sacrifice can the dragon ascend into Heaven. But the forces of evil are out to take the woman’s powers first leading way for a huge and destructive battle to begin.

Mr. Woodcock – Seann William Scott, Billy Bob Thornton, and Susan Sarandon star in this film about those in our past coming back to haunt us. John Farley is a self-help guru who is all about letting go of the past. Upon returning home to receive a huge honor though; he finds out his mom is about to remarry and it’s to his old gym teacher that tormented him as a child.

Across The Universe – A romantic musical told mainly through numerous Beatles songs performed by the characters. A young man from Liverpool comes to America during the Vietnam War to find his father. He winds up in Greenwich Village, where he falls in love with an American girl who has grown up sheltered in the suburbs. Together they experience the sweeping changes of America in the late 60’s.

December Boys – Daniel Radcliffe stars in this touching tale about four orphaned boys growing up in a Catholic convent in Australia. For years they watch others come and go from the orphanage to new homes with new parents, but there time just doesn’t seem to ever want to come. When their time does come though; they then realize the true meaning of family.

Eastern Promises – Starring Naomi Watts, Viggo Mortensen, and Vincent Cassel. Nikolai is a ruthless man who is a long-time driver for one of London’s most notorious crime families. All is right with him until he crosses paths with Anna, a midwife trying to right and wrong. When she gets caught up in the lineage of the family and ends up in danger; Nikolai finds his loyalties divided.

Great World Of Sound – When Martin answers an ad to train as a record producer, he’s excited by the prospect of signing undiscovered artists only to discover his new job isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. He really gets into his work, but when he starts doing too good a job; that’s when he realizes something may be really wrong about the company.

Silk – In the mid 19th century, a silkworm merchant travels from France to Japan to locate silkworm eggs that are uncontaminated by the epidemic that threatens Europe’s silk supply. The merchant falls in love with the occidental concubine of a Japanese baron, though he has a loyal and doting wife awaiting his return.

Ira & Abbey – Both Ira and Abbey just can’t seem to get their own lives in order, but once they meet, they realize they are the ones for each other. Quick decisions and hasty happenings cause for much learning to be done over time and it is then that more and more is discovered about one another and they figure out that they may not be exactly who they thought they were.

In The Valley Of Elah – Tommy Lee Jones, Charlize Theron, Susan Sarandon, Jason Patric, and Jonathan Tucker star in this story about a family that will do anything for each other. Jones plays a war veteran who along with his wife (Sarandon) and a police officer (Theron) go in a search for their son that recently returned from duty in Iraq but has gone missing.

King Of California – Starring Michael Douglas, Evan Rachel Wood, and Greg Davis. At the age of sixteen, Miranda has already had to live with her share of disappointments. Abandoned by her mother, she’s dropped out of school and has been supporting herself as an employee at McDonald’s while her father Charlie resides in a mental institution. When Charlie is released and sent back to their home, Miranda finds the relatively peaceful existence she’s built for herself completely disrupted.
