No Mercy Main Events Spoiled?, Suspended Wrestlers Returning & More

Local advertising in Chicago is promoting John Cena vs. Randy Orton and The Undertaker vs. Batista for No Mercy, taking place October 7 at the All-State Arena, according to WrestlingObserver.com. Cena vs. Orton was announced on Unforgiven as being a Last Man Standing match.

Also according to WrestlingObserver.com, the wrestlers suspended for 30 days will return on the week of October 1. As Dave Meltzer previously reported, those wrestlers are believed to be:

– Ken Kennedy (RAW)
– Umaga (RAW)
– William Regal (RAW)
– Charlie Haas (RAW)
– John Morrison (ECW)
– Edge (SD, injured)
– Gregory Helms (SD, injured)
– Funaki (SD)
– Chavo Guerrero (SD)

Also according to Meltzer, Chris Masters and Booker T have also been suspended, but for 60 days (and Booker’s reportedly quit the promotion and not expected to be returning).

In other news, the NY Daily News interviewed Ashley Massaro, who will be in the upcoming season of Survivor. The story says that Ashley went to WWE asking to be on the reality show, but according to Meltzer, the show asked WWE and the company chose Massaro, which was second-guessed. The show premieres on CBS this Thursday.
