Marcus Cor Von, formerly known as Monty Brown in TNA, has been released by WWE, according to a report on WWE.com. Cor Von had been absent from his ECW brand for some time due to an undisclosed family emergency, thought to be the death of a relative, and had been expected to return to action shortly. Cor Von is the fifth person involved in the ECW tag match at WrestleMania 23 to no longer be with WWE.
