In other news, TNAWrestling.com reported the following: Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling will host its first-ever talent audition for prospective wrestlers on Saturday, October 29 at noon in the “iMPACT Zone†at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Each participant will have the chance to showcase their talents, learn what TNA is looking for, and present any video footage and a resume to TNA Director of Talent Relations Terry Taylor. The newest edition of Heat has gone live on WWE.com, featuring Cody Rhodes vs. KC James, Ron Simmons vs. Johnny Parisi and a main event of The Highlanders vs. Brian Kendrick and Paul London. I believe this is Simmons’ first match since participating in Survivor Series vs. the Spirit Squad, James’ first appearance on WWE programming since his tag team with Idol Stevens (and Michelle McCool as valet) was taken off of Smackdown, and Parisi’s (Johnny Swinger) first since being released from his WWE contract a while back.
Also, Pro Wrestling Insider today reported that recent WWE developmental signee Sheamus O’Shaunessy has gone to Florida Championship Wrestling.
