News, Rumors

The new trilogy of Terminator films are on their way, but first the cast needs to be assembled…if you’ll pardon the pun.

Marcus Schenkenberg has already been labeled as one of the new Terminators, but no other cast has yet been named. Until now. It is rumored that Rachel Weisz and Chloe Sevigny are both in the lead to be named for the female lead in the first new film. The role would be that of a killer cyborg which would evidently make them the villain.

It’s been said that while at a party in New York, both actresses approached Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson about the role. Kubicek and Anderson are both higher-ups at the Halycon Company who own the rights to the film.

John Brancato and Michael Ferris are currently writing the script for Terminator 4. As soon as more word is known about this battle for the female lead, we’ll get it to you.

UPDATE: A source in close production with Terminator 4 has now personally informed me “that Weisz and Sevigny are not, repeat, not in talks for a role in the film.”
