According to The Ocala Star Banner, a mixture of prescription drugs killed Brian “Crush” Adams. The AP has also picked up on this story, as have several other local Florida news outlets.

Alan Wojcik sent this in: Thanks to the success of the “Wrestling for Whiskers” event, Florida Championship Wrestling will be holding shows every Tuesday night at Bourbon Street Night Club, 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey FL. FCW is an official developmental territory to World Wrestling Entertainment. The shows will begin at 830pm with tickets at 7 dollars.

In other WWE developmental news, according to PWInsider, WWE creative team members Michael Hayes, Dave Lagana and Dave Kapoor were scouting backstage at the OVW TV taping this past Wednesday.

Finally, TNA’s iMPACT! last night did a 0.9 cable rating, according to Nielsen Media Research and WrestlingObserver.com. I believe this is the first time the show has been under a 1.0 in quite some time.
