Congress, Bobs, JBL, Dusty News

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that some WWE wrestlers, including one major star, have been contacted directly by Congress about talking with them and perhaps being asked to testify.

Cowboy Bob Orton may be brought back as part of the Cena/Orton feud. There is still some hesitation due to the problems WWE had during his last stint thanks to his history of hepatitis.

Bob Holly and Cody Rhodes are to form a tag team to feud with Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch.

Dusty Rhodes is the sole creative member to work on the Miz/Kelly/Mahoney storyline on ECW. He pitched the idea from start-to-finish to Stephanie McMahon a few months ago, she green-lighted it, and since ECW was so low on the radar he was given free reign over it. Dusty and Vince have also been working with Kelly to improve her acting abilities.

JBL wrestled at an autism benefit show in Richmond, VA, on 21 September. His team of Steve Corino, CW Anderson, Elix Skipper and LAX lost to Sgt Slaughter’s team of Dustin Rhodes, Scott & Rick Steiner and T.J. & Kirby Mack in a War Games match. Slaughter beat JBL with a cobra clutch to win the match. A.J. Styles, Abyss, Ron Simmons and Ricky Steamboat were also on the card.
